THE ROCK
Life groups are an essential part of Candlewood. Made up of 5 to 15 people, these groups meet regularly throughout the month in homes with a focus on developing meaningful relationships with one another and with God, prayer, and exploring the Bible. You are welcome and encouraged to visit and partake of this vital dimension of our church life.
All Rock Life Groups meet for an hour on Wednesdays. Contact the life group leader for the time. |

Armor Bearers
For College Men Leader: Mike Whitney E-mail: unorock@gmail.com
The purpose of Armor Bearers life group is to spur and encourage one another on to loving God first and foremost. Our desire is to be known as a loving man, who loves God and loves people as Jesus loves people.
In Matthew 22:36-40 "Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the law?" Jesus replied: "'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.' This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments."
It is our desire to become better lovers of God and better lovers of our brothers and sisters.
Our Goals are simple -To Win the Lost -To Build the Believer -To Send the Sanctified
Ideally these three things are done in weekly meeting. But the bottom line is that we desire to encourage each other to loving God to our fullest capacity and to love each other as Jesus loved his disciples. It seems like everything in our lives are set up to discourage us. Lord willing you will leave our Life Group encouraged in your walk and challenged to sell out for our Commanding Officer.

Grounded
For College Men Leader: Vao Yang E-mail: unorock@gmail.com
Is there any encouragement from belonging to Christ? Any comfort from his love? Any fellowship together in the Spirit? Are your hearts tender and compassionate? Then make me truly happy by agreeing wholeheartedly with each other, loving one another, and working together with one mind and purpose. Don't be selfish; don't try to impress others. Be humble, thinking of others as better than yourselves. Don't look out only for your own interests, but take an interest in others, too. You must have the same attitude that Christ Jesus had. Phillipians 2:1-5
We want to be men that are humble and obedient to God so that God can work through us as a platoon to reach the lost!!

We are a bunch of ordinary college women who desire to humbly serve our fellow servants of Christ and to reveal to the lost the "unserachable riches of Christ." |
